The Seaview Golf Resort, in Galloway, New Jersey (about 20 minutes north of Atlantic City), offers a unique service for golfers not staying on property to tee it up on one of its premier courses. The Bay Course, covering nearly 6,300 windswept yards along Reed's Bay, is the better known of the two courses. It hosts the LPGA ShopRight Classic, and it was the site of the 1942 PGA championship, where Sam Snead won his first major championship. Opened in 1914, it's a textbook Donald Ross seaside course, with a Scottish feel. Hole #2 is the Bay's signature hole. This 432-yard par 4 plays directly toward the Atlantic Ocean, which dramatically influences the flight of the ball (as you can imagine).
