Shadow Ridge Golf Club

The first course designed by Nick Faldo in the United States, Shadow Ridge Golf Club is an Australian Sandbelt-inspired design with plenty of bunkers, massive, undulating greens and a variety of holes. Playing just over 7,000 yards from the tips, this par-71 course has 89 bunkers, many of them quite large, as well as generous landing areas in the fairway. There are four sets of tees, playing as short as 5,158 yards. A few the holes are definitely on the longer side, like the 609-yard par-5 second, which is also the no. 1 handicap hole. Along the way, golfers will enjoy terrific views of the Santa Rosa Mountains, which are snow-capped well into spring. Named among the top 100 resort courses in the United States by Golfweek Magazine in 2015, Shadow Ridge also has outstanding practice facilities that include a full-grass range and a comprehensive short-game area. Inside the clubhouse golfers will find a large, well-stocked golf shop and full-menu restaurant.
