Considered one of the best courses in the Southwest, Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Arizona, is a stunning 18-hole track built on 320 acres of magnificent land on the Ak-Chin Indian Reservation. Ak-Chin Southern Dunes is the perfect escape for all Phoenix area golfers with its striking Sonoran Desert vistas, exceptional links layout and ideal course conditioning. Add in expansive strategic bunkering, tricky, small green complexes and rolling fairways at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes and it’s no wonder why it’s consistently on all the ‘must play’ lists. The par 4, 10th hole is one of the standouts. Playing 412 yards, the 10th requires golfers to hit their tee shot over a lake to a twisting fairway followed by a tricky approach over a waste area to a well-guarded green. Ak-Chin has been thrilling golfers for almost 20 years and will continue to be a staple of the Phoenix golf scene.
