Chambers Bay

Host of the 2015 U.S. Open, Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Washington, is one of the best public golf courses in the United States. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., Chambers Bay is a glorious ode to the historic links courses of Scotland and Ireland and is one of the few true links golf courses in North America. Constructed on the sand dunes bordering the Puget Sound with seaside fescue and a wide open layout, Chambers Bay checks all the boxes of a true links course with one notable exception: the Lone Fir.
