Set just an hour north of Seattle, Avalon Golf Links in Burlington, Washington, is a 27-hole golf course with three phenomenal nine-hole sides: North, South and West. Designed by the brilliant Robert Muir Graves, Avalon Golf Links boasts an exciting layout with tricky doglegs, dramatic elevation changes and magnificent views of the Skagit Valley and Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges. The combination of the North and South nines is considered the most difficult combination at Avalon Golf Links. Stretching 3,428 yards from the tips, the North Nine is the longest side of the three. The 5th and 6th holes on the North Nine are two of the toughest at Avalon Golf Links. The 5th hole is a lengthy 227-yard par 3, and the par 5 6th hole continues the trend—measuring 594 yards from the tips. The South Nine challenges a golfer’s accuracy instead of his length. The South Nine contains the most challenging green complexes at Avalon Golf Links with difficult slopes and bunkers protecting difficult pin locations. Although the layout is difficult, Avalon Golf Links - North/South is a fair test for any golfer’s game.
