Originally built as a 9 hole course, Emerald Canyon Golf Course in Parker, Arizona, has grown to a full 18 holes set amongst desert, rocks, ravines, bluffs, and of course, canyons. Located along the Colorado River, which serves as the border between Arizona and California, Emerald Canyon is easily accessible to golfers staying in its vicinity no matter which side of the state line they happen to be located. Pairing up with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to save local endangered species, Emerald Canyon’s water hazards are used as breeding grounds for Razorback Suckers and Bonytail Chubs in order to repopulate the Colorado River.
