Forty Niner Golf & Country Club in Tucson, Arizona, is an incredible parkland style golf course that opened its greens to the public in 1961. Designed by William Francis Bell, Forty Niner features lush green grass that acts as an oasis from the surrounding desert sand and native shrubbery, which includes Mesquite, Giant Cottonwood, Weeping Willow and Eucalyptus trees. Forty Niner is also nestled between the Catalina and Rincon Mountains, which create rolling terrain and gorgeous mountain views throughout the golf course. For golfers that are looking for a real challenge, the 5th hole is a great par-4 that’s known to be the most difficult holes in the area.
