Heron Bay Golf Club is in Coral Springs, Florida, on the eastern edge of the Everglades and a half-hour west of Boca Raton. The former home to the PGA Tour's Honda Classic (1997-2002), Heron Bay will test your game to its limits, just as it has the pros. Champions of the tournament include Stuart Appleby, Mark Calcavececchia, Vijay Singh, Dudley Hart, Jesper Parnevik and Matt Kuchar.
Heron Bay opened in 1996 as part of a 1,500-acre development. Unlike other golf-community developments, homes are separated from the course by large canals and lakes. The course was designed by PGA Tour player and golf-course architect Mark McCumber. He had the task of building a course to challenge the best of the best, and still make it enjoyable for the general public to play.
Heron Bay was voted one of America's 10 Best New Public Golf Courses by Golf Digest and named a 4-star "Place to Play" in 2008/2009. The course can play to 7,300 yards, but those tees are rarely played. You can play tees ranging from 5,000 to 7,300 yards, and every tee box will provide more than enough challenge for any golfer.
Come and play at Heron Bay Golf Club, one of Florida's premier public courses and practice facilities!
