Hopewell Valley Golf & Country Club in Hopewell, New Jersey is built on 190 tranquil acres that are rich with natural beauty: rolling hills, mature trees, plush greenery, and the historic and winding Stony Brook. Famed Scottish golf course architect Thomas Winton originally designed the original l8-hole golf course which opened for play in the spring of 1928. The design of the course places the front nine holes around the perimeter of the course which spiral carefully around the back nine holes, thus allowing the meandering Stony Brook to bring hazard and challenge to five different holes. Small, well-protected greens present the golfer with the greatest challenge of the course. The 13th hole is the Club’s signature hole – a par three measuring 150 yards with only water between tee and green. Noted architects Robert Trent Jones and Stephen Kay have added their touch to the design. Hopewell Valley Golf & Country Club offers a truly memorable golf experience with world-class amenities.
