The Ka’anapali Kai Golf Course (formerly the South Course) in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, was originally created as an executive golf course but was later redesigned by architect Arthur Jack Snyder in 1976. At 6,400 yards, the par 70 golf course is a more forgiving track with subtle, undulating greens that accommodates all levels of play. The Kai course hosted the 2008 season of “Big Break Ka’anapali,” the Golf Channel’s No. 1 series. The Ka’anapali golf courses sit on the land of a former sugar cane plantation. Along many holes on the Kai golf course sit natural canals, gulches and lava rock boundaries. The course is landscaped with native flowers as well as the Norfolk Pines and coconut trees that border many fairways, making the golf course as beautiful as it is challenging. Reserve your tee time today at a golf course steeped in history and beauty.
