Located in Middlefield, Connecticut – about a half-hour south of Hartford – Lyman Orchards Golf Club is recognized as one of Connecticut's Top Ten Public Golf Courses and was recently named one of America's Best Courses by the Zagat Survey. The Gary Player Course, sprinkled with deciduous trees and classic white pines, takes players through the apple orchards and offers ample elevation changes throughout the design. It can be played from 4,667 to 6,600 yards, and it offers a stellar mix of par threes that average over 210 yards from the tips. On holes 11 and 13, you'll be treated to 360-degree views of southern Connecticut's picturesque landscape. The Gary Player Course rewards well-positioned drives and accurate iron play, with 34 bunkers protecting relatively small greens. The facility opened for play 1994.
