Tan-Tar-A Resort is in beautiful Osage Beach, Missouri (just a three-hour drive from St. Louis and Kansas City), on one of the fingers of land that jut into the Lake of the Ozarks. Its Oaks course, designed by Bruce Devlin and Robert Von Hagge, is 18 holes of demanding approaches, challenging greens and well-placed hazards that will compete for your attention with the lake's beauty. Gnarled cedars, stately oaks, dogwoods and redbuds cover the rolling hills of the Oaks. The golf course's 6,432 yards, 11 holes with water and 57 multi-sized traps take each golfer on a journey through the surrounding forests, hills, and sparkling blue backdrop of the lake. The Oaks was the host site for the 1994 PGA Club Pro championship.
