Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort, in Palm Springs, California, consists of two spectacular 18-hole, championship-type golf courses. Both offer gorgeous views of Palm Springs. Golf Digest has said that Tahquitz Creek is one of the best places to play, and has given it 4½ stars. The Legend Course is a traditional-style course, designed by William Bell in the late '50s, and has been a Palm Springs favorite for years. The mature, 18-hole course features (tall) tree-lined fairways which meander through some of Palms Springs' older, nicer homes. The picturesque mountain views will enhance any round you play here. The Legend has less hills than the Resort and has only one water hole, so it's considered easier. But with over 60 bunkers and deceptively undulating greens (which are sloped back to front), this course will often sneak up and grab you.
