The Links at Challedon, located in Mount Airy, Maryland, is named after the Maryland-bred horse that won the 1939 Preakness, and is among the state’s best golf courses. The par 72 golf course was designed by Brian Ault, and is consistently ranked by Washington Golf Monthly as one of the “Top 100 Places to Play” in the Washington, D.C., area. The Frederick-area golf course features large, undulating bent grass greens and strategically placed green-side bunkers that have a traditional links design.
