Once known as the “celery capital of the world,” Arvada is a suburb northwest of Denver with a great downtown and plenty to outdoors. With a population of about 125,000 people, there are festivals and farmer’s markets most weekends, more than 90 parks, and numerous restaurants, bars, breweries, galleries and shops.
