Orange, Connecticut, a suburban town located just west of New Haven, is surrounded by golf courses that welcome tee times. The best course in Orange’s orbit is Yale Golf Course, a broad-shouldered, exquisitely designed US top-100 layout. Alas, Yale Golf Course is private, though Connecticut residents are able to gain access.
