Best Golf Courses Near Cumming, GA

With plenty to do both indoors and outdoors, Cumming is a town located just north of Atlanta and Alpharetta, bursting with plenty of activities and attractions. Cumming might be best known for the 963-acre Sawnee Mountain Preserve, which offers hiking trails, playgrounds, picnic areas, and amphitheater and visitor center. The Preserve is located on Lake Sidney Lanier, where visitors take part in fishing, boating, swimming and camping. Balloons Over Georgia is also based in Cumming, offering scenic rides to different parts of the state. And in town, you’ll find the Cumming Playhouse as well as the Cumming Fairgrounds, which plays host to annual events such as antique car shows, tractor shows and rodeos. There’s also the 10-day Cumming Country Fair & Festival held every October. There are also plenty of terrific golf courses in Cumming.
