Best Golf Courses Near Duluth, GA
With an historic downtown, museums, great parks and terrific local arts and eateries, Duluth is a city with a small-town feel and big-time fun. This Atlanta suburb is known for The Southeastern Railway Museum, which houses an array of train artifacts, like Pullman cars, locomotives and cabooses. Town Green Park, which is located near city hall, is the site of frequent free concerts, and the Hudgens Center for the Arts has all kinds of exhibitions. Nearby Lake Lanier is the place to go for waterspouts, hiking and picnicking, while the Chattahoochee River is great for canoeing and tubing. There are plenty of golf courses in the Duluth area, too, although it’s known primarily for its great private clubs like TPC Sugarloaf. There are some good public options, though, like the Peachtree Golf Center, which has excellent practice facilities to go with its 18-hole par-3 course.
