Best Golf Courses Near South Bend, IN

There’s a lot to love about Angola, a town of just under 10,000 people located in northeast Indiana. Pokagan State Park is nearby, and it’s home to Trine University, which Synonymous with Notre Dame University, South Bend offers not only all things Fighting Irish, but plenty else to see and do. While the famous university with its gold-domed main campus building is at the top of the list for visitors, there’s also the St. Joseph River, popular Potato State Park and endless trailed. In the city center, the Studebaker National Museum displays cars from a bygone era, and the nearby History Museum has hundreds of exhibits and includes three historic homes, including the 19th-century Oliver Mansion. There are also casinos, plenty of nightlife, local restaurants and pubs and local theater, both at the university and in town. There are also plenty of golf courses in South Bend, and many of them are outstanding. One of the best is the Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame, a Bill Coore/Ben Crenshaw design that’s one of the best college courses in the country.
