Affectionately known as “The Little Apple,” the city of Manhattan in northeastern Kansas is home to Kansas State University and its Wildcats sports teams. The school’s gorgeous campus extends over 2,300-acres that includes an insect zoo but not a golf course. KSU’s home golf playing field is Colbert Hills, a broad-shouldered links-style championship layout that tests all golfers with its up and down terrain, tall grasses, and nearly 100 bunkers.
