Best Golf Courses Near Paducah, KY
Located right where the Tennessee and Ohio rivers merge, Paducah was a key city during the Civil War because of its location. Today it’s known for something much more civil, as it’s synonymous with quilt making. Known as the “Quilt City,” there’s even an extensive museum in Paducah celebrating the craft. Paducah, which has about 25,000 residents, offers much more than quilts though, with a historic downtown, a great culinary scene, craft breweries and distillers. Among the offerings are Kirchoff’s Deli, the Dry Ground Brewing Co., Paducah Beer Works, and Silent Brigade Distillery. Paducah also has its share of good golf courses. Highly-rated Drake Creek Golf Club as well as Paxton Park Golf Course are a couple of courses open to the public.
