Best Golf Courses Near Quincy, MA
The birthplace of two U.S. presidents, Quincy is known as the “City of Presidents,” as both John Adams and son John Quincy Adams were born there. John Hancock, first signer of the Declaration of Independence and president of the first Continental Congress, was also born there. With that in mind, Quincy features many historic sites, like Adams National Historical Park, which celebrates the members of the Adams family who served the United States in various capacities. Other prominent attractions include Thomas Crane Public Library, the birthplace home of John Hancock and the United First Parish Church and Adams Crypt. Of course, Quincy also has lots of great restaurants, pubs and shopping as well. Great golf is plentiful in Quincy and the surrounding area as well. One of the best known is Granite Links, 27 holes built out of an old quarry with the Boston skyline in the background. Presidents Golf Course is another good option, while Furnace Brook Golf Club is a terrific nine-hole option.
