Known for its apple orchards, rolling hills and rustic country roads, Stow is a town of under 10,000 people that offers an easy lifestyle and beautiful country and seasons. Located about 25 miles west of Boston, Stow has several attractions in the area, such as the American Heritage Museum, Animal Adventures and Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge, which has wetlands, vernal pools, and large forested areas. Stow is also a great area for golf, known primarily for 36-hole Stow Acres Country Club, site of the 1995 US Amateur Public Links Championship.
