Best Golf Courses Near Augusta, MI
Located in southwestern Michigan on Augusta Creek, the town of Augusta is a small quiet community with a nice city park, well-preserved railroad depot and the Barn Theater. But what really put it on the map is its golf. In particular, Augusta is home to the region’s largest golf resort, Gull Lake View, which has six championship courses. The most recent course really stands out. Stoatin Brae is a links-style, Tom Doak design that has won numerous accolades. Other courses at Gull Lake View, which was founded in 1962, include the East, West, Stonehedge South and North and Bedford Valley. There are also plenty of public golf options in nearby Galesburg and Battle Creek, including 27-hole Hickory Ridge Golf Course and Cedar Creek Golf Course respectively.
