Best Golf Courses Near Benton Harbor, MI
The waterfront city of Benton Harbor offers plenty for both locals and visitors alike. There’s a couple of wineries, a brewery and plenty of quaint shopping, restuarants and coffee shops. There’s also lots to do outdoors, considering this southwestern community, which is a 100-mile drive from Chicago, is situated on the St. Joseph River and the shores of Lake Michigan. The golf scene is also quite strong. Benton Harbor is where you’ll find harbor Shores Resort, home of an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus signature course that has been a regular stop for the KitchenAid PGA Senior Championship. Harbor Shores, though, is just the beginning. Other good options for golfers include Blossom Trails Golf Course, which has an 18-hole course and par-3 course, the Charles Maddox-designed Lake Michigan Hills Golf Club and Berrien Hills Golf Club, which originally opened in 1924.
