Best Golf Courses Near Grand Blanc, MI
An affluent suburb of Flint, Grand Blanc is a pleasant town of around 8,000, offering hiking opportunities, quaint restaurants and quality golf. Visitors can also fuel up at Michigan’s Greatest Fudge & Taffy Co., for handmade Mackinac-style fudge, taffy and ice cream before golf at facilities like the Jewel of Grand Blanc, which has two championship courses – the Diamond and the Onyx, which are open to the public. Other public golf options include the Raymond Floyd-designed Captain’s Club at Woodfield as well as Brookwood Golf Club in nearby Burton and Swartz Creek, with an 18-hole and par-3 layouts in Flint. Grand Blanc’s best known course, however, is private Warrick Hills Golf & Country Club, where Tiger Woods won the Buick Open three times, including the last PGA Tour tournament there in 2009. Warrick Hills is now a stop on the PGA Tour Champions.
