Best Golf Courses Near Harrison, MI

Harrison, a town in north central Michigan, attracts plenty of visitors each year to its parks, fairgrounds, city and farmer’s market and recreational opportunities at the 20 lakes within 20 minutes. And for those who live there or are visiting, there are plenty of golf courses in the area to enjoy. Just in Harrison alone, there are three courses, two that are 18 holes and a nine-hole course. The most popular is Tamaracks Golf Course, a par-71 layout that plays around 7,000 yards from the tops. Snow Snake Ski and Golf Club attracts winter sports enthusiasts in the colder months and golfers to its 18-hole course during late spring, summer and fall. Devil’s Knob is a par-3 course in Harrison. Clare, which is next door, also has an 18-hole course, Firefly Golf Links, while nearby Gladwin has several courses, including Sugar Springs, an 18-hole layout that plays more than 6,700 yards.
