Best Golf Courses Near Kalamazoo, MI

The home of Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo has plenty of to offer. There are museums, art galleries, plenty of eateries, bars a few breweries and lots to do outside. Recreational activities include parks and several golf courses, including a good municipal system of courses led by 27-hole Eastern Hills Municipal Golf Club. Muni Milham Park, an 18-hole course that goes back to 1931, is another good option. And if you’re looking for a quick nine, municipal Red Arrow Golf Club is nice choice. Of the daily fee public courses, though, Prairies Golf Club leads the way. The 18-hole course that goes back to 1912 is wonderfully laid out and well-conditioned. Kalamazoo has some nice private clubs, too, led by Kalamazoo Country Club, which goes back more than a century and was designed by Tom Bendelow and Willie Watson.
