A regional tourist draw, South Haven is a Southwestern Michigan town that offers beaches, boating, nature trails and plenty of golf in the area. With Van Buren State Park next door and Chicago less than two hours away, South Haven, which is near Lake Michigan, is especially popular during the warms summer months. It offers a couple of nice public golf courses – Hawkshead Links, a resort course designed by Michigan native Arthur Hills; and Beeches Golf Club, which is laid out around several water features.
