Best Golf Courses Near Gulfport, MS
Along with Biloxi, Gulfport makes up a busy tourist area on the Gulf Coast about an 90 minutes east of New Orleans. The second biggest city in Mississippi offers an international airport, casino resorts, a water park, offshore excursions like deep sea fishing and plenty of great local seafood restaurants and breweries. There are also a few museums and even Civil War fort to explore. The region is also great for golfers with lots of great courses designed by some of the best in the business like Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio and Arnold Palmer. They range from the oldest course in the state, the semi-private and Donald Ross-designed Great Southern Golf Club in Gulfport to the premium Fallen Oaks Golf Club, a stop on the PGA Tour Champions that’s open to guests of the Beau Rivage Casino and Resort as well its members.
