Best Golf Courses Near Canandaigua, NY

A vacation spot located on the northern tip of Canandaigua Lake, the city of Canandaigua is known for its historic downtown, great restaurants and beautiful lake views. The downtown streets offer art galleries, boutique shopping, coffee shops and a wide variety of local cuisine. Canandaigua is also home to the Bristol Harbor Golf Resort, which has a Robert Trent Jones Sr.-designed course that plays nearly 6,700 yards long. The course is a tale of two nines with the front side along the lake and back nine carved through a forest. Centerpointe Golf Club is another 18-hole regulation golf course open to the public, while Canandaigua Country Club is a private facility with a Billy Fuller design that opened in 1922. Other courses in the area include 27-hole Pheasant Golf Links in Shortsville as well as the Victor Hills Golf Club, which also has three 18-hole courses and an executive course.
