Best Golf Courses Near Webster, NY

Named after the famous statesman Daniel Webster, Webster is a suburb of Rochester, offering lots to do and see. The city, which has a population of just under 50,000 people has plenty of restaurants, pubs, and parks. You can take a boat on the Erie Canal, visit the “Imaginarium,” take a beer or wine tour or check out a farmer’s market. The area also has plenty of golf, led by Webster Golf Club, which opened in 1959 and was designed by architects James Harrison and Ferdinard Garbin. Next door in Penfield, Shadow Lake Golf & Racquet Club has both an 18-hole course and par-3 course. And The Links at Greystone is a highly-rated public course in nearby Walworth. Greystone, which measures more than 7,300 yards, has superb views and conditioning.
