Named after the famous statesman Daniel Webster, Webster is a suburb of Rochester, offering lots to do and see. The city, which has a population of just under 50,000 people has plenty of restaurants, pubs, and parks. You can take a boat on the Erie Canal, visit the “Imaginarium,” take a beer or wine tour or check out a farmer’s market. The area also has plenty of golf, led by Webster Golf Club, which opened in 1959 and was designed by architects James Harrison and Ferdinard Garbin. Greystone, which measures more than 7,300 yards, has superb views and conditioning.
