The fifth largest city in Oregon, Hillsboro is known for its charming downtown, beautiful historic homes, beer breweries and outdoor recreation. With nearly 110,000 people, Hillsboro has also become a big part of the “Silicon Forest” with plenty of tech companies and jobs in the region. The city, located about 30 miles west of Portland, also has a minor league baseball team called the Hillsboro Hops, museums, cultural and arts centers, a conference center and plays host to the annual Washington County Fair.
