Known for its wine, outdoor recreation, arts, tasty pears and cheese, Medford is a city certainly worth visiting in Southern Oregon. Located along the Rogue River and Valley, Peter Britt opened Oregon’s first official winery nearby and Rogue Creamery makes the famous Rogue River Blue Cheese, considered one of the best in the world. The river also offers rafting, fishing and hiking trails nearby.
