Best Golf Courses Near Greensburg, PA
With an abundance of museums, parks, trails and historic sites, Greensburg is a great destination for visitors. This little city of less than 15,000 residents, which is just a little more than 30 miles from Pittsburgh, is home to the Westmoreland Museum of American Art. It is also close to Revolutionary War sites Bushy Run Battlefield and Fort Ligonier. In addition, Greensburg is just 10 miles from Latrobe, where the legendary Arnold Palmer grew up. Latrobe Country Club, where Palmer’s Deacon was pro and superintendent, is a bucket list play for golfers all over the world. But if you can’t get on at Latrobe, there are some nice public options, too. Among them is Totteridge Golf Course, an excellent Rees Jones links style course that plays near 7,200 yards. Mount Odin Golf Course, a modest but enjoyable par-70, is another public option, while Robertshaw Acres Golf Club in nearby Youngwood is a nice nine-hole layout.
