Not to be confused with Vancouver, British Columbia, the U.S. version of Vancouver is a suburb of Portland, Oregon, just across the Columbia River in southern Washington, not too far from Mt. St. Helen’s. With a population of just under 190,000 people, Vancouver is the fourth largest city in the state.
