Best Golf Courses Near Neenah, WI
Neenah, which along with Appleton and Oshkosh is one of the Fox cities of Wisconsin, tucks into the northern shores of Lake Winnebago. While it’s an obscure fact that many of the manhole covers and grates on streets all across the country bear the name of the Neenah Foundry, locals know Neenah as a place with an array of golf options. At the 27-hole Winagamie Golf Club, the standard 18 includes the Pines nine and the unforgiving Woodlands nine. Winagamie’s third nine, the executive-style Highlands, is favored for beginners and family outings. It’s also the “home course” of one of Wisconsin’s largest junior golf programs. Westridge Golf Club, which rambles over very hilly terrain, features 14 water holes and challenging wind conditions. Keep an eye out for tee time discounts here. You should also consider the Reid Municipal and Chaska eighteens in Appleton, just north of Neenah. After golf, it’s worth a visit to the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass and R. Harder Gallery of Gems and Minerals, although we’re still partial to the gems that require tee times in and around Neenah.
