Heroes Golf Course

Located at the West Los Angeles Veterans Administration Hospital, Heroes Golf Course is a nine-hole par-3 course with few frills. It is, however, a good value for both golfers and veteran golfers alike (veterans get a substantial discount). Here, they can get in a quick nine or simply work on their games on this walker=friendly layout. The holes range from 78 yards to 178 yards from the back tees (there are two sets). The greens at Heroes Golf Course are small and there aren't many hazards, however there is a ravine players have to clear on the 95-yard ninth hole. The no. 1 handicap hole is the 146-yard fourth, though there's not much trouble on the hole. The course does feature a few trees for golfers to navigate, and the terrain does have some movement to it, which means golfers who miss greens can be faced with some challenging chips and pitches (there are no bunkers).
