The Slammer & Squire Golf Course is in the heart of World Golf Village in Jacksonville, Florida, just 10 minutes north of St. Augustine. This 18-hole championship resort course was designed
by Bobby Weed with input and inspiration from both Slammin' Sammy Snead and Gene "The Squire" Sarazen. Its classic layout is nestled into the area's existing pristine natural setting, meandering naturally through native flatwoods and hardwood hammocks bordering wetland preserves and a wildlife habitat.
In the spirit of the World Golf Village's mission, the Slammer & Squire is challenging without unfairly penalizing the amateur player. Par is 72, with five sets of tees per hole to accommodate all levels of play. Lakes provide strategic challenges, and gently rolling fairways, tees and greens feature a new Florida breed of Bermuda grass that ensures delightfully unmatched playing conditions.
