Salt Creek Golf Course is a unique executive golf course in the greater Chicago area that offers two 9 hole courses: the White course and the Blue course. Together, these courses run 3985 yards in length and can be played as either 9 holes or 18 holes. Salt Creek Golf Course has recently undergone number of improvements to keep its course in great shape. The course is set among gently rolling terrain, and features tree lined fairways, beautiful ponds, and strategically placed sand bunkers resulting in a challenge for all levels. Shots can be tough due to small greens with well-placed pin locations. Salt Creek Golf Course also has intriguing traps and water hazards that challenge the average golfer. The course is long enough to use all of clubs in the bag, but short enough to get to the green in a reasonable amount of strokes on most holes. The 8th hole at Salt Creek Golf Course Blue has an island green that regulars at the course look forward to each time they come back. Following the island green, golfers at Salt Creek Golf Course experience an even more challenging par 4 on the 9th hole. This hole requires a well placed tee shot as there is water on both sides of the fairway. Salt Creek Golf Course is a great starter to a moderate course and is a fantastic course for people who are still learning golf. It is not too long, and has a little mix of everything you’d want in a golf course.
