Considered one of the better values in the Sacramento area, WildHawk Golf Club is solid daily fee option suitable for players of all levels. Tipping out 6,718 yards, the par-72 course was designed by J. Michael Poellett. The course has four sets of standard tees as well as two sets of family tees, which play around 3,000 yards and 4,000 yards respectively. The layout has a high desert look to it with scenic water features and larger greens, well protected by bunkers. Generally in nice condition, the course also drains well, so it's a good place to play during rainy season. Also known for its friendly staff, WildHawk Golf Club has good practice facilities and an excellent lesson program, featuring several qualified instructors. The public facility also offers a well-stocked golf shop as well as the WildHawk Grille, which has a stellar reputation in the community and serves golfers and nongolfers alike with an extensive menu, wide selection of drinks and beer and indoor and patio dining overlooking the ninth and 18th holes.
