Bayonet and Black Horse - Bayonet

1 McClure Way,
Seaside, CA 93955 United States

One of two championship courses on property, Bayonet and Black Horse - Bayonet in Seaside, California, is an 18-hole track that recently was renovated by Gene Bates. Considered the most difficult course on the Monterey Peninsula, Bayonet features a tight layout with strategically-placed bunkers that prove to be penal on any errant shots. The signature 9th hole at Bayonet is a beastly 476-yard par 4 that plays uphill and doglegs to the right. For golfers looking to challenge themselves, Bayonet and Black Horse - Bayonet will not disappoint.
Bayonet and Black Horse – Black Horse

1 McClure Way,
Seaside, CA 93955 United States

The friendlier of the two layouts on property, Bayonet and Black Horse - Black Horse in Seaside, California, is an 18-hole track that is more scenic than it is challenging. Black Horse features stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, including the signature par 3, 15th hole that faces the Monterey Bay. With fairways lined with fescue, bunkers with jagged edges and contoured greens, Black Horse plays like a links style course but with more trees and less opportunities to run the ball up to the green. Renovated to inspire more strategy and less challenges, Bayonet and Black Horse - Black Horse is the perfect complement to Bayonet, an extremely difficult layout.
